Our purpose is to mentally prepare, and anticipate the wonderful changes that you will experience. There will be some challenges both prior and after surgery. Sometimes frustration will creep into your new world, and it should be understood that this is temporary, as adjustments and changes are taking place. We would like to help begin your process and follow through with your process as needed with small goals and acknowledging success along the path. Many times there is a heightened amount of depression and anxiety prior to your anticipated surgery. This is understood, and can be acknowledged, and addressed with a plan in place to address the amount and level of each. Many times the anxiety and depression correspond with weight related issues. Bariatric surgery will resolve these very quickly, as well as many other health related issues. Should there be issues that are not weight related, they will be identified and the proper treatment will be recommended.
